Background Checks

CRB / DBS Checks

Ensuring the safety of your children is our top priority. We provide comprehensive DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks for all childcare professionals.

What is a DBS Check?

A DBS check (formerly known as CRB check) is a criminal record check that helps employers make safer recruitment decisions. For anyone working with children, an Enhanced DBS check is required.

The Enhanced DBS check includes a check of the Police National Computer, local police records, and the children's and adults' barred lists.

All nannies placed through Nurture by Night undergo an Enhanced DBS check as part of our comprehensive vetting process.
